Marcel Sr. Bulliard

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, August 15, 2006, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville for Marcel Joseph Bulliard, Sr., 82, who died Saturday, August 12, 2006 in Snellville, Georgia. Entombment will be in St. Michael Mausoleum, in St. Martinville. Rev. Dennis Malcolm, pastor of Trinity Bible Church will officiate. A native of New Orleans, Mr. Bulliard is a veteran of the US Army, and is a retired transportation supervisor, from the New Orleans Public Transportation System. He enjoyed, and was good at, aggravating his family and friends. Survivors include his son, Marcel Bulliard, Jr. and wife Donna of Lafayette; daughter, Michele Thurmond and husband George of Snellville, GA; sisters, Mary Joyce Broussard of New Orleans, Jean Tymon of Houston, TX; grandsons, Christopher Bulliard, Jeffrey Bulliard, Randall Bulliard, Erik Thurmond, Cody Thurmond; granddaughters, Alexis Bulliard, Corey Hall and husband Rob, Megan Dorman and husband Jon, Abigail Thurmond, Hallie Thurmond; great grandsons, Gabriel and Joshua Hall, Laurel Dorman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Bulliard; father, Henry Bulliard; mother, Jeanne Davenport; brothers, Bubba Bulliard and Raymond Bulliard. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time of service. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Bulliard, Randall Bulliard, Erik Thurmond, Rob Hall, Jon Dorman, and Joe Standridge. Honorary pallbearer will be Cody Thurmond. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
