Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, December 11, 2010, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Marceline Noel, 88, who passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at her residence in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Fr. Joseph Campion, Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, will conduct the services. Survivors include her nieces, Mary Judy Ann Kimble and her husband, Willie of Houston, TX, Ida Marie Smith and her husband, Walter of Clinton, LA, Mary Ruth Noel of Cecilia, Jane Marie Broussard and her husband, Hebert of Cecilia, Marjorie Noel of Breaux Bridge, Georgia Pierre of Breaux Bridge, Rosa Noel of Baton Rouge, Rose Marie Dorsey and her husband, Michael of Orlando, FL and Shirley Charles and her husband, William of New Iberia; her nephews, Joseph Laify Noel and Joseph Perley Noel, both of Breaux Bridge; and a host of great nieces and nephews and family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ida Borel Noel; her sister Enola Cluse and her husband, Joseph S. Cluse; and her brother Gussie Noel and his wife, Bernice Landry Noel. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2010. A rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Pallbearers will be Jason Noel, Arthur Mayweather, Adam Broussard, Anthony Smith, Joseph Dorsey, and Joseph Perley Noel. Honorary pallbearers will be William Charles and Joseph Laify Noel.
