Marcella Davis

A Home Going Celebration will be held for Marcella Wiltz Davis, 67, at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at St. Edward Catholic Church in New Iberia with the Rev. Clifton Labbe, SVD, officiating. Interment will be private.

A gathering of the family and friends will be held at St. Edward Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 8:00 am until the time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 8:30 am.

A resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Davis passed at 3:00 am on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at her residence in New Iberia. She was a Practical Nursing graduate in 1982. She retired from Dauterive Hospital after 33 years of practicing nursing.

She leaves to cherish her memory and in God's care two daughters: Technical Sergeant LeVonya Marie Davis and Marcie Anna Davis; two sons: Technical Sergeant Jeremy Ray Davis (Sarah) and Vaughn Monroe Davis Jr.; two brothers Enis James Wiltz and Patrick Isaac Wiltz; two sisters: Laura Annie Wiltz and Leora Mae Wiltz; five granddaugthers: Chloe Andras, Kaley Brown, Jasmine Andras, Brooklyn Hypolite, and Anna Davis; one grandson Jeremy Davis Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She now joins in glory with her parents Charles Wiltz and Leona B. Wiltz, her husband Vaughn Monroe Davis Sr., her parents-in-law Earl Davis, Sr. and Marion D. Davis; her nephew Terrel Wiltz; her brothers-in-law Earl Lincoln Davis and Oswald Davis; sisters-in-law Leotha D. Howard, Prscilla D. Hicks and Lara D. Pearson.
