Marcia Viator Louviere

Lydia A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at St. Marcellus Catholic Church in New Iberia, for Marcia Viator Louviere, 64, who passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Tuesday and continue at 8:00 am until 10:30 am on Wednesday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Tuesday. Rev. Eugene Tremie will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Regina Viator and Craig Louviere. Gift Bearers will be Dustin Viator and Allison Viator. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia. Marcia was a graduate of Mt. Carmel, Class of 1969 and worked as a Teachers Aide for several years. She was an avid fan of L.S.U. football and loved camping, riding 4-wheelers, going fishing, and bowling. Marcia was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter. She cherished times spent with her family and especially loved spoiling her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Elwood Louviere of Lydia; her son, Craig M. Louviere and his wife, Melanie, of Lydia; her daughter, Lisa; five grandchildren; and her father, Mark A. Viator of New Iberia. She is preceded in death by her mother, Florine Bonin Viator; and her brother, Mark A. Viator II. Pallbearers will be Craig Louviere, Rodney Louviere, Travis Louviere, James Louviere, Trent Louviere, and Mark Anthony Viator, III. Honorary pallbearers will be Elizabeth Viator, Johnny Viator, and Ronald Louviere.
