Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2008, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Marcus Dean ""Deno"" LeBlanc, 46, who died on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Rev. Fr. Paul LaFleur, Pastor of St. Bernard Catholic Church, will officiate at the funeral service. ?The reader will be Jacob Broussard. ?Gift bearers will be his niece and nephews. Marcus was employed by Wear Control for a number of years as a welder/machinist. ?He was a ""Big Hearted Cowboy"", who thoroughly enjoyed riding horses. ?He loved cooking and watching football, and always looked forward to spending time with his family and friends, especially the times spent playing with his niece and nephews. ?Marcus's greatest joy in his life was his son, Cody, and his fianc?e, Paula, who brought true meaning to his life. Survivors include his fianc?e, Paula Navarre, of Breaux Bridge; his son, Cody Duke LeBlanc, of Breaux Bridge; his father, Eugene P. LeBlanc, Sr., of Breaux Bridge; his paternal grandmother, Marie B. LeBlanc, of Breaux Bridge; one sister, Marlene L. Dor? and her husband, Dean, of Breaux Bridge; two brothers, Mark LeBlanc, of Breaux Bridge, and Eugene P. LeBlanc, Jr. and his wife, Brittany, of Youngsville; his niece and godchild, Tiffany Dor?, of Breaux Bridge; and two nephews, Kinzie LeBlanc, of Youngsville, and Treg Dor?, of Breaux Bridge. He was preceded in death by his mother, D'Ella S. LeBlanc; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ulric Stoute; his paternal grandfather, Odilbert Duke LeBlanc; his uncles, Charles Ray Stoute and Robert Landry; and his cousin, Scotty Stoute. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Friday and continue at 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening. Pallbearers will be Mark LeBlanc, Eugene LeBlanc, Jr., Dean Dor?, Robert Chet Sonnier, Steve Dirck Sonnier, and Neil Guidry. Honorary pallbearers will be David Troy Sonnier, Michael Sonnier, Kevin Landry, Greg Stoute, Kinzie LeBlanc, and Treg Dor? Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
