St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Marella DeJean , 69, who passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:00 am until 11:45 am on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 am. Rev. Nicholas DuPre' will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Tammy LeBlanc and Diane Champagne. Gift Bearers will be Donna Roberts and Debbie David. Entombment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Marella was a parishioner of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, and a member of Sam's Camping Club and the National Rifle Association . She is survived by Donna Roberts of St. Martinville, LA, Jules (Anna Mae) Dore of St. Martinville, and many other cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mathilde Dore DeJean. Pallbearers will be Jay Fremin, Coby Dore, Bill David, and David Romero. Honorary pallbearer will be Jules Dore.
