Margaret Thompson Courville

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, December 24, 2009, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Cecilia, for Margaret Elaine Thompson Courville, 40, who passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2009, at Camelot of Broussard. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Pastor David Baudoin will conduct the funeral service. Margaret enjoyed crocheting, painting statues, and watching television. She loved Mardi Gras and enjoyed meeting and visiting with people, as well as cooking for them. Margaret also enjoyed riding her motorbike with her husband, Michael, who she was married to for 20 years. Survivors include her husband, Michael Courville, of Breaux Bridge; two sons, Charles Hogue, of Hammond, and Dillon Courville, of Breaux Bridge; her daughter, Mary Hogue, of Breaux Bridge; her brother, Danny Thompson, of Eustis, FL; her sister, Gladys White, of Weirdale, FL; a grandchild, Aubrey Hogue; her step mother, Virginia Thompson, of Eustis, FL; three step brothers, Allen Dishong, of Eustis, FL, Robert Smith, of New Mexico, and Greg Smith, of Live Oak, FL; and two step sisters, Roxanne Bremizer and Wendy Largent, of Greenville, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Finley Thompson; and a brother, Charles Ray Thompson, Jr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 7 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. on Thursday. Pallbearers will be Jamie, Dillon, and Nicole Courville, Charles Hogue, Josh Soileau, William White, and Mary Hogue. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Maupin and Patrick Courville. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
