Breaux Bridge - Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, on Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge, for Margaret Blanchard Huval, 81, who passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 2:45 pm on Thursday. A rosary will be prayed at 1:00 pm on Thursday. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Margaret babysat for over 40 years. She cherished moments spent with family and friends. She is survived by her son, Allen J. Huval of Breaux Bridge; her husband, Harry F. Huval of Breaux Bridge; her brothers, Ronald Blanchard and his wife, Verna of St. Martinville, Hodges Blanchard and his wife, Sheen of Butte La Rose, and Bernard Blanchard and his wife, Agnes of Catahoula; and her step grandchildren, Robert Owens, Elizabeth Owens, Michael Owens, and Jessica Owens. She is preceded in death by her father, Authuir Blanchard; her mother, Ann Girouard Blanchard Thevenet; and her daughter, Kathryn Huval. Pallbearers will be family members.
