Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson for Margaret Ann Olivier, 77, who passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:30 am on Friday and will continue until 9:30 am on Saturday.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Friday.
Rev. Lloyd F. Benoit will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Mandy Belaire and Gaige Broussard. Gift bearers will be Rylee Broussard, Paityn Broussard, and Bryn Touchet.
Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville.
Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. For many years, she owned the restaurant, "Cajun Cuisine." She enjoyed cooking, dancing, and going to the casino. Most importantly, she loved to spend time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Margaret will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Vereska Touchet; grandchildren, Christina Huval (Chuck), Sara Broussard (Brent), Roderick Touchet, Jr. (April), Joshua Touchet, Corky Delahoussaye, Jr., Kyle Delahoussaye (Brittany Hail), Hannah Delahoussaye (Brent Boutin), and Kenneth Delahoussaye; and her 16 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Olivier; mother, Hermine Knott Olivier; daughter, Lita Taylor; brother, Calvin Olivier; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Roderick Touchet Jr., Joshua Touchet, Kyle Delahoussaye, Randall Berard, Raymond Clause, and Gaige Broussard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Philip Huval and Aiden Broussard.
