Margaret Frelich St. Marie

Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held at Pellerin Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, 11:00 am, for Margaret Frelich St. Marie, 82, who passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday from  9:00 AM until time of service.

A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 AM on Tuesday.

Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert will officiate the memorial service.

Margaret Frelich St. Marie was born on February 9, 1940. She was a resident of Plaquemines Parish until 2005 and a resident of Breaux Bridge for the past 18 years. Margaret was a kind, loving, gentle, and petite little woman with a big heart who loved being with her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening and sharing her flowers with everyone. Music was a big part of her life; she loved singing Country and Christian music, which helped ease her pain throughout her illness and put a sparkle in her pretty blue eyes.

Margaret will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She will always be the sunshine and the light for her family. She will live on through our memories and remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by husband of 64 years, Eugene Joseph St. Marie; daughters, Jeanie (Dean) Bowers and Verna (Rusty) Mackie; son, Eugene (Tania) St. Marie, Jr.; grandchildren, Julie Bowers, Gary (Connor) Bozeman, Jr., Ashley (Derick) Miller, Joseph (Sydney) St. Marie, Dean Bowers, Jr.; great-grandchildren Zoey Zito, Ali, Logan Miller, Violet St. Marie, River, Bailey, Cheyenne, Jaelyn Bozeman, and Tatum Bowers; sister Peggy (Bucky) Johnson; and her sisters-in-law, June and Linda Frelich.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edmond and Mildred Fayette Frelich; her brothers, Paul (Delores) Frelich and Donald Frelich; granddaughter, Tammy Bowers; and her nephew, Paul Jr. and his wife Mary.
