New Iberia -Private services will be held at a later date for Marguerite Lorraine O’Quinn, 77, who passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023.

A native of Franklin, Marguerite was born on July 19, 1946, to the late Roy and Florence Winston Thibodaux. She was a graduate of Franklin Senior High School and worked as an office manager

One of Marguerite's favorite pastimes was sitting on her porch and watching birds and squirrels. She found solace in observing these beautiful creatures as they danced through the trees. Nature held a special place in her heart, reminding us all of the profound beauty that surrounds us every day. In addition to watching nature's wonders, Marguerite found great joy in playing online video games.


Marguerite leaves behind an indelible mark on those who knew her well. Her unwavering kindness, and gentle nature will be dearly missed by all. She will forever be remembered.

 

Survivors include her children, Leah Liner Pinell (Ronald Jr.), and Jeffrey Liner (Natasha); sister, Kay T. Lorenzo; grandchildren, Brennan Pinell (Ashlie), Lauren Escribano (Arthur), Cody Pinell (Sherry), Dakota Liner, and Jeffrey G. Liner; great grandchildren, Camille Pinell, Grey Pinell, Demi Pinell, Parker Pinell, Mia Pinell, and Rook Escribano.

 

In addition to her parents, Marguerite was preceded in death by her husbands, Golden Liner and Patrick O’Quinn; a brother, Roy J. Thibodeaux, Jr., and a sister, Rosemary “Penny” Thibodeaux.
