Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Marie Lou "Malou" Boyer, 75, who passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at her residence. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Chanh Nguyen will officiate at the funeral Mass. Survivors include three brothers, Hilton Boyer and his wife, Mabel, of Lafayette, Alton Boyer and his wife, Verna, of Breaux Bridge, and Irvin Boyer and his wife, Sylvia, of Eunice; one sister, Lou Anna Sanders and her husband, Raymond, of Breaux Bridge; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alcee and Emma Courville Boyer; and a brother, Clifford Boyer. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Monday and continue at 7 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pallbearers will be Joseph Sanders, Keith Boyer, Jimmie Boyer, Billy Boyer, Dickie Boyer, and Donald Boyer. Honorary pallbearers will be Irvin Boyer, Jr. and Kenneth John Boyer. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
