Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 3, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Marie Louise Taylor Latiolais, 92, who passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge from 7:30 am until 2:00 pm on Friday. A rosary will be prayed at 12:30 pm on Friday by Rebecca LeBlanc. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Gift bearers will be Ella Grace and Jace LaFleur, Gia Melancon, Brycen Bergeron, and Raylon Bergeron. Readers will be Kallie LaFleur and Nole Melancon. Marie's grandson, Terry Matthew Latiolais, will lead the funeral procession on her late husband's motorcycle. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Louise was considered the "rock" of her family; she loved her family more than anything and loved spending time with them. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Louise had a steadfast love and dedication to help everyone. She and her husband, Howard, traveled all the states, as well as Canada, on a motorcycle. They enjoyed going to the casino with her brothers and their wives and also with Mary Picard. As a pastime, she loved to play solitaire and cards with her great-grandchildren. Louise will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son, Terry Wayne Latiolais (Debbie); daughters, Mary Ann LeBlanc (Charlie) and Elaine LeJeune (Jeff); grandchildren, Terry Matthew Latiolais (Tenneal), Tennille Melancon (Brock), Keisha Lafleur (Herman "Boonie" Hardy), Lucas LeJeune (Ronny), and Britney Bergeron (Justin Bouley); great-grandchildren, Spencer and Seth Latiolais, Kallie, Ella Grace and Jace LaFleur, Nole and Gia Melancon, Brycen and Raylon Bergeron and Dixon Bouley; step-great-grandchildren, Kabe Barron, Ryan Gautreaux and Jules Hardy; brothers, Avie Taylor (Shirley), Jessie Taylor (Priscilla) and Leland Taylor (Linda); and her sister, Elsie Hebert (Jesse). She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Howard Latiolais; father, Gervais Taylor, Sr.; mother, Eugenie Stelly Taylor; brother, Gervais Taylor, Jr. (Grace); sister, Shirley Cormier; and foster brother, V.J. Brock (Peggy). Pallbearers will be Terry Matthew Latiolais, Brock Melancon, Lucas LeJeune, Sean Castille, Seth Latiolais, and Spencer Latiolais. Honorary pallbearers will be Timmy Latiolais, Tracy Latiolais, Troy Jude Latiolais, Kevin Latiolais, Scott Taylor, Brian Taylor, Sonny Hebert, Paul Taylor, Glen Taylor, Lonnie J.
