Marie Louise Pourciaux

St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville for Marie Pourciaux, 69, who passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday.

Pastor Weldon Moak will officiate at the Funeral Service.

Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.

Marie was born September 4, 1952. She enjoyed playing a good game of UNO or Yahtzee. Marie was quite the jokester and loved to make others laugh. She will be deeply missed her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Robert Pourciaux; grandchild, Braydon Pourciaux; cousin, Glenda McCartney; godchildren, Roseanna Ronsonet, Steven Ronsonet and Jimmy Dale Ronsonet; and her dog, "Nubbie."

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theonile Pourciaux; father, Elmo Joseph Sonnier; mother, Gladys Horton; two brothers, Pat Sonnier and Eddie Sonnier; aunt, Joan  Bouillion; and her cousin, Mack  Williams.

Pallbearers will be Robert Pourciaux, Braydon Pourciaux, Roseanna Ronsonet, Steven Ronsonet, and Jimmy Dale Ronsonet.
