Marion 'Nu' Fisette

Cecilia A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Marion "Nu" Fisette, 76, who passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Tuesday, and continue on Wednesday at 9:00 am until 1:45 pm, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, by Reed Falgout. Rev. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Funeral Mass with Deacon Ken Arnaud con-celebrating. Scriptures will be read by Ashley Collette and Patty Landry Bergeron. Gift Bearers will be Carlee Coach Huval and Brenda Faye Fisette Davis. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Mr. Fisette was the owner and operator of Fisette Dragline Services, Incorporated for many years. He loved animals and as a pastime he enjoyed repairing equipment, cars, and trucks. He is survived by three daughters, Brenda "Faye" Fisette Davis and husband, Fred William Davis, Phyllis Fisette Erato and husband, Warren Steven Erato, all of Cecilia, and Sheila Fisette Johnson and husband, Steven Charles Johnson, of Broussard; his sister, Sybil Fisette Landry and husband, Nelson, of Lafayette; six grandchildren, Kristen Diane Davis, Fred Marion Davis, Ashley Erato Collette, Steven Charles Johnson, II, Jennifer Johnson Young, and Brandy Erato Talley; nine great grandchildren, Lydia Jolie Guidry, Ace Marshall Ledoux, Hendrix Carter Ledoux, Jade Young, Kaylie Talley Phillips, Karley Talley, Kloe Talley, Colin Collette, and Carson Collette; and two great-great grandchildren, Kamryn Boudreaux and Kenley Phillips. He is preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Mercedes Thibodeaux Fisette; his parents, Lionel and Agnes Quebedeaux Fisette; and his brother, John Chester Fisette. Pallbearers will be Steven C. Johnson, Fred William Davis, Warren Steven Erato, Steven Charles Johnson, II, Fred Marion Davis, and Shawn Talley. Honorary pallbearers will be Nelson Landry and Dusty Collette.
