New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM , Friday, July 1, 2011 , at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Mark C. Courville, 48, who passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2011 in New Iberia . Interment will follow St, Basil Cemetery in Judice. Rev. Rex Broussard will officiate. Born on January 22, 1963 , Mark dearly loved his work as a welder at Del Corporation in Scott. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, cooking, and riding his motorcycle, but his great love was spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife Valerie Broussard Courville of New Iberia; mother, Margarine DeRouen Courville of New Iberia; father, Harry Courville and wife Nettie of Loreauville; daughters, Lauren Courville Hebert and husband Jeremie of New Iberia, Courtney Courville of Broussard, Lauren Sellers of Lafayette; brothers, Bryan Courville and wife Janet of New Iberia, Timothy Courville of New Iberia, Brad 'BJ' Courville and wife Sarah of Youngsville; sisters, Sabrena Lilkendy and husband George of New Iberia; grandchildren, Jade Elizabeth Maturin, Alexis Christine Hebert, Connor Paul Hebert; godchild and niece, Valerie Green and husband Richard of Houston; nieces and nephews, Bateman Green of Houston, Hannah Courville, Brennan Brown, Amber Neil, and Noah Christian Lilkendy all of New Iberia Kennedy Courville; step sisters, Juanita Leleux Curtis of New Iberia, Terry Leleux Latour and husband Jacque of Youngsville; step brothers, Danny Leleux of Breaux Bridge, Kerry Leleux of Butte La Rose; 8 step nieces and nephews; and Don and Valerie Naquin of New Iberia who were like a brother and sister to Mark. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Julius 'Pop' and 'ZZ' Courville, and Dutille and Sedonie DuBois DeRouen. Pallbearers will be Bryan Courville, Timmy Courville, Brad Courville, Jeremie Hebert, Don Naquin, and Colby Pepper. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd , in New Iberia . A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Thursday.
