Marreta Pill Stelly

New Iberia - Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, on Thursday, October 30, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Marreta Pill Stelly, 86, who passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 1:30 pm on Thursday. Rev. Gary Schexnayder will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia. Marreta enjoyed doing needle point, cooking, reading, and working in the yard. She cherished moments with her family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Lex Stelly of New Iberia, LA, Jim Stelly and his wife, Joanne of New Iberia, LA and Will Stelly and his wife, Maria of Reserve, LA; her daughters, Stephana Stelly Oldham Tiller and her husband, Glynn of Canyon Lake, TX, and Mel Stelly Jolet and her partner, Tess E. Blanchard of New Iberia, LA; her grandchildren, Dawn Alexis Oldham Koenig, Stephen Oldham, Xander (Alexander) Stelly, Victoria Ashley Stelly Hamilton, Tristan Alexander Stelly, Megan Leigh Stelly, Ryan Alexis Stelly, Katelyn Anne Stelly, Dominic Alexander Stelly, April Leigh Stelly Torres, and Jeff Alex Stelly; and her great-grandchildren Andrew (Drew) Koenig, Kelsey Koenig, Linwood Hamilton, Maliah Torres, Sophia Torres, and LiliAna Torres. She is preceded in death by her father, Horace Clyde "H.C." Pill; her mother, Octavia Shafer Pill; her husband, Alex Stelly; and her sister, Patricia Pill McDaniel. Pallbearers will be Lex Stelly, Will Stelly, Jim Stelly, Jeff Roberts, Seth Chastant, Bill Dondrom, and William Pratt. Honorary pallbearer will be Jeff Stelly.
