St. Martinville A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm, on Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Martinville, for Marsha Marie White, 65, who passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 2:45 pm on Thursday. Pastor Andrew Champagne will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Marsha loved her family deeply and enjoyed providing care and doing for others in their time of need, whether they were family or friends. She loved traveling to visit her family near and far and spending time with her longtime friend, Eula Mae Champagne, and her sisters, Sharon, Kathy, and Dianna.
She is survived by her father, Lester White of St. Martinville; her son, Frank Champagne Anderson of St. Martinville; three daughters, Enola "Cindy" White of New Iberia, Michelle Courville (Eric Louviere) of Coteau Holmes, and Nicole W. Derouen and husband, Jeremy, of St. Martinville; three brothers, Lester "Sonny" White, Jr. and wife, Roselyn, of Metairie, Gary Mackles and wife, Kim, of St. Bernard, and Terry Mackles and wife, Lizzy, of Mississippi; three sisters, Sharon Taglialavore and husband, Larry, of New York, Kathleen Shemack and husband, Frank, and Dianna Toucheck and husband, Oreste, Jr., all of St. Martinville; her brother-in-law, Anthony Bryan, Sr. of Covington; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Enola Keith White; her husband, Robert Lee Vicknair; her brother, Timothy Dale White; her sister, Caron Bryan; and her daughter-in-law, Rebecca Anderson.
Pallbearers will be Gary Mackles, Willis Courville, Aurelien Courville, Dustin Courville, Eric Louviere, Oreste Toucheck, III, Chris Ajan, and Clarence "B.J." Bonin.
Honorary Pallbearer will be James Smith, III.
