Gadsden, AL - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2006, at Crestwood Funeral Home Chapel in Gadsden, AL for Martha Denson Gilliam, 84, who died Saturday, December 31, 2005 at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville. Interment will be in Crestwood Cemetery in Gadsden, AL. Survivors include her son, James Gilliam of Breaux Bridge; her brother, Oran Denson; and her sister, Iris Purvis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Gilliam; and her son, George Marcus Gilliam.
