Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2007, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Martha Guidry, 85, who died Wednesday, May 16, 2007. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Allen Breaux, of St. Bernard Church will conduct the services. Survivors include her son, Nathan Guidry and his wife, Brenda of Breaux Bridge; her daughter, Eva Dale Gutekunst and her husband, Charlie of Fort Myers, FL.; her sisters, Mrs. Jefferson "Electa" Roberts and Mrs. Herman "Emeliane" Landry, both of Breaux Bridge; her grandchildren, Amanda Rifkin and her husband, Jeffery of Huntersville, NC, Chad Guidry and his wife, Amanda of Mobile, Alabama and Heidi LaFaver and her husband, Dan of Denver, Colorado; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Rifkin, James Rifkin, Molly LaFaver and Avery Guidry; her step great grandchildren, Melissa and Leigh Rifkin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Idel and Eva Theriot Bijeaux; her husband, John "To-To" Guidry; her sisters, Mrs. Lucien "Emerite" Theriot, Mrs. Noe "Devine" Theriot, Mrs. Nolan "Palmire" Guidry, Vivian Bijeaux and Eva Bijeaux; her brother Adam Bijeaux and her infant brothers, Idel Joseph Bijeaux and Donadieu Bijeaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:30 am until 9:00 pm Friday, May 18, 2007 and continue at 8:00 am, Saturday, May 19, 2007 until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2007. Special thanks to her sisters, nieces, nephews, friends and the staff of Hospice of Acadiana.
