Martha Theriot

Parks - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 5, 2005, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks for Martha Borel Theriot, 90, who died Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional ?Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Theriot was a member of the St. Joseph Altar Society in Parks, American Legion Auxiliary, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, Home Demonstration and the Rosary Group. Survivors include her three sons, Jesse Theriot and his wife, Myra, of Carencro, Norris Theriot and his wife, Peggy, of Breaux Bridge, and Neil Theriot and his wife, Julie, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; her two daughters, Leona Baudin and her husband, Edward, of Breaux Bridge and Joyce Broussard and her husband, J.O., of Jeanerette; three sisters, Ruby Bergeron and Amiee Castille of St. Martinville and Laura Belanger of New Iberia; 23 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Theriot, Sr., one son, Wilton Theriot; one grandson, Butch Theriot; two sisters, Mable Theriot and Orelia Guidry; and two brothers, Stanley Borel and Evrard Borel. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 am till 10:00 pm, Friday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks ?and continue at 8:00 am Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Friday. Pallbearers will be Keith Baudin, Joey Theriot, Heath Knight, Dominic Theriot, Bret Theriot and Kendal Broussard.
