New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM , Monday, October 22, 2012, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Martin James LeBlanc, 26, who died on Thursday, October 18, 2012. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Sunday. Visitation will continue Monday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. A lifelong resident of Coteau, Martin was a graduate of Westgate High School, and attended the South Louisiana Community College, and the University of Louisiana Lafayette. An Eagle Scout, he was also a volunteer with the Coteau Fire Department. Martin enjoyed spending time on Facebook, and with his family and friends. Survivors include his father, Vance LeBlanc of Coteau; mother, Susan Landry of Coteau; grandparents, Murphy and Hazel LeBlanc of Coteau, Earl and Jean Landry of New Iberia; sister, Tiffani LeBlanc and companion Joshua Pellerin; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
