Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Mary Ann Broussard, 71, who passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at her residence.Visiting hours will be observed at St John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville from 9:30 am until 11:30 am on Wednesday. Rev. Travis Abadie will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Mary Ann Broussard was born December 12, 1950, in Lafayette, Louisiana; to the union of the late Henry Broussard and Mary Lou Versa Noel. Mary Ann answered the call of the Lord, at the age of seventy, Monday, September 13, 2021, after a brief illness.She was a faithful and longtime parishioner of St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church, and St. Catherine of Alexandria. Mary Ann loved laughter and good food; her family was her pride and joy. She enjoyed cooking and praying for those in need. She also enjoyed family and friends, listening to music and for those who knew her, she was the peace maker. She had a beautiful smile that would light up a room. When she entered a room, there was a calm spirit. She will always be remembered for the advice she gave and for the love she gave everyone. Celebrating and forever cherishing her memories: her daughters, Wakeisha Richard (Roderick), Cynthia A. Broussard, Chikita A. Broussard (Christopher) and Barbara Tyler; her sons, Clyde M. Broussard and Eddie Tyler; brother, Henry John Broussard; sisters, Barbara Broussard (Russell), and Orida B. Edwards (Jules III); grandchildren, Ja’Vailon, Da’Tavanie, Alisa, Rodrick Jr, Devin, Rhonda (Peter), Randy, Miranda, Cedric (Amber), Laye Trelle, Christopher Jr (Alicia), Kevin, Curtis, Tyler, Kabrina and Acacia; sisters-in-law, Elvina, Ida Mae, and Rose; brothers-in-law, Junius and Raymond, and a host of other relatives and friends.Mary was preceded in death by her parents; Henry Broussard and Mary Lou Versa Baltazar; stepfather, Percy Baltazar; her sister, Mildred Mallet; brothers-in-law, Walter Mallet Jr., George Alton “Tony” Thompson, Alton Human, and Joseph Alvin Thompson, and her longtime companion, Joseph M.
