Breaux Bridge- A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Mary Agnes Pete, 79, who passed away on March 18, 2025 at Ochsner St. Martin Hospital.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. 

Her son Alton J. Perry, Sr. will officiate at the funeral service.

Burial will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery

Mary Agnes was a talented hairdresser, self-employed and known for her passion in beautifying others. Her warm spirit and generous heart were reflected in everything she did. A beloved fixture in her neighborhood, her door was always open to family, friends, and anyone in need. Mary Agnes loved playing cards, particularly Pitty Pat and Studs, bringing joy and laughter to many. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time at the local Jockey Lot, where she made countless memories.

She is survived by her children, Leroy Williams, Alton (Kelly) Perry, Sr, and Madonna Clay; brothers, Jessie Williams and Alton Williams; sister, Emily Perrodin; grandchildren, Jasmine Brown, Jamira Williams, Shar'de Mouton, LaMarcus Brooks, Alton Perry, Jr., Lacey Zeno, Lamar Williams, Shamira Theriot, Leon Williams, Shyra Perry, Lyric Williams, Jason Charles, Kiley Calais and Kaitlin Mouton; and her 22 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Percy Pete; parents, Alton and Modres William; sisters, Shirley Williams, Aloisa Williams and Pauline Williams; brothers, Gerald Williams and Johnny Williams.

Pallbearers will be Demetrian Brown, Jayce Wiltz, Lamar Williams, Jason Charles, Alton J. Perry, Jr. and Javian Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Castille, Jr., Joseph Williams, Alton J. Perry, Sr., Leroy Williams and Leon Williams.
