Mary Ann Berard

Parks Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, September, 10, 2008, at St. Louis Chapel in Parks, for Mary Ann Berard, 72, who passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2008 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Broussard. Mary Ann enjoyed sewing and going shopping. Survivors include two sons, Allen Berard (Ethel), of Breaux Bridge, and Fernand Berard, Jr. (Diane), of St. Martinville; one brother, Presley Joseph, Jr., of Cecilia; three sisters, Helen Thomas, Ella Joseph, both of Broussard, and Bertha Clement, of Breaux Bridge; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferdinand Berard; and her parents, Presley, Sr., and Amy Pierre Joseph. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2008. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
