Mary Daigle Berthelot

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Mary Lee Daigle Berthelot, 82, who passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017, in Lafayette. Interment will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 9, 2017 at St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Pastor Nick Suire will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A native of Arnaudville and longtime resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Berthelot was born on January 7, 1935 to Gilbert and Lucette Sonnier Daigle. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, going to the casino, and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her daughters, Kathryn "Katie" Alleman of New Iberia, Brenda Migues and husband Kevin of New Iberia, Tracy Berthelot of New Iberia; son, Darrell Glenn "Bert" Berthelot of New Iberia; brother, Jessie Daigle and wife Rita of Henderson; sister, Lena Daigle of Lafayette; grandchildren, Crystal Dupont and husband John, Chelsea Hoffpauir, Jessica Hebert and husband Gerald, Brian Grow and wife Taylor, Cody LeBlanc, Zoe LeBlanc, Donald Derise; great grandchildren, Gavin Hebert, and Benit Grow. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Joseph Berthelot and a sister, Loretta Daigle. Pallbearers will be Glenn Berthelot, Donald Derise, Kevin Migues, Brian Grow, Cody LeBlanc, Craig Palmature, Kenneth Hoffpauir, and Richard Daigle.
