Mary Burrell Hebert

New Iberia - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Monday, March 15, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Mary Burrell Hebert, 76, who passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021, in Lafayette. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home. A rosary, led by the Men’s Rosary Group, will be prayed at 6:30 pm Sunday. Visitation will continue on Monday from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm. A great wife and mother, Mrs. Hebert was born in Sarepta on March 30, 1944 to the late Percy and Hazel Smith Burrell and was an area resident for most of her life. She enjoyed reading, shopping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who were her life. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Wesley Joseph Hebert of New Iberia; son, Troy A. Hebert (Elaine) of Broussard; grandchildren, Michael Hebert (Josh Oschwald) of Atlanta, Georgia and Orry Hebert (Maura) of New Iberia; and great grandchildren, Colton Hebert, and Oaklyn Hebert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Girard.
