Mary Duhon Coles

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, November 12, 2007, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge, for Mary Duhon Coles, 76, who passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at New Iberia Manor - North. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Duhon enjoyed gardening, fishing, crawfishing, hunting, and picking her eggs, and loved to cook gumbo. ?She loved spending time with her family. Survivors include two sons, Francis Coles, of California, and Charles Coles and his wife, Edna, of Breaux Bridge; one daughter, Jo Anna Coles Gainer, of Amarillo, TX; one brother, Eric Duhon, of Breaux Bridge; one sister, Ida Duhon Baudoin, of Breaux Bridge; and seven grandchildren, Robin Ragan, Troy Mellema, Holly Chard, Terry Watson, Amber Herpin, Brittany Picard, and Harley Picard; and four great grandchildren, Elena Prado Ragan, Sylvia Prado Ragan, Hannah Chard Parker, and Charlotte Watson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Coles; one son, Tommy Coles; one daughter, Cindy Coles; two brothers, Emic and Theo Duhon; one sister, Agnes Duhon Trahan; and her parents, Gilbert and Edna P. Duhon. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Monday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
