Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Mary Joyce T. Stevens Constantin, 89, who passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at The Carpenter House St. Joseph Hospice.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Saturday and continue on Sunday at 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.
A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Saturday.
Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Readers will be Aimee Poirrier Schueneman and Jillian Dickerson Landry.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge.
Ms. Constantin was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rayne. She enjoyed spending time in prayer, shopping, and going to the casino. She especially cherished moments spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Janet Dickerson of Duson; sons, Ronald Theriot and fiancée Donna Migues of Lafayette, and Mark Stevens of Lafayette; grandchildren, Jimbo Wiggins, Jillian Dickerson Landry, Nicole Dickerson Cormier, Myles Theriot, Neal and Jude Poirrier, Aimee Poirrier Schueneman, Stephanie, Cody, Coy, and Barrett Stevens, Leslie and Mason Richard; 16 great grandchildren; and 3 of her husband's children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ravis Constantin; mother, Helen B. Thibodeaux; father, Alexander "Alexson" Thibodeaux; daughter, Patricia Theriot Poirrier; sister, Mary Rose T. LeBlanc; brother, Chester Anthony Thibodeaux; and a grandchild, Ansley Elizabeth Dickerson.
Pallbearers will be Jimbo Wiggins, Myles Theriot, Baylen Dugas, Dylan Schueneman, Cody Stevens, and Jude Poirrier.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Theriot, Keith Landry, Neal Poirrier, and Bryan Schueneman.
