Mary B. Courville

Breaux Bridge - A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson for Mary B. Courville, 83, who passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at The Carpenter House of Baton Rouge.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday.

Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the graveside service.  

Mary was a devoted wife and mother who always provided support and unconditional love to her family. She enjoyed cooking and vegetable gardening. Mary was a member of The Bible Church of Henderson and enjoyed attending services. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Luke Courville; daughters, Karen LeBlanc (Terry "Blue"), Kori C. Blanchard (Chris), and Kris Disotell; 17 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin J. Courville; sons, Leonard "Matt" Courville and Lawrence "LJ" Courville; daughter, Katy Lynn Courville; parents, Lucien Bergeron, Sr. and Alvina Robin Bergeron; sisters, Elvina Bergeron, Birdie Guidry and Rosabelle Taylor; and brothers, Lucien Bergeron, Jr., Alvin "T-Rouge" Bergeron, Ernest Bergeron, and Dewey Bergeron.

Pallbearers will be Stevie Champagne, Tex Bergeron, Landon Disotell, Luke Lasseigne, Seth Courville, RJ Vicknair and Duke Guidroz.

Honorary pallbearer will be Luke Courville.
