VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Mary Ann Dauphine Devillier, 71, who passed away on Monday, January 18, 2010 at her residence. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Neil McNeill will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Shayna Guidry and Lindsey Fitzgerald. Gifts will be presented to the Altar by her grandchildren. Mary Ann dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She loved spending time with them and watching them all grow-up to become young adults. Mary Ann enjoyed cooking, attending Sunday Mass, reading the Teche News, and sharing a cup of coffee while visiting with her friends. She also volunteered her time helping at all schools in the parish. Survivors include her husband, Jasper John Devillier, of Breaux Bridge; two sons, Rickey Devillier and Ken Devillier, both of Breaux Bridge; three daughters, Kathleen "Kat" D. Touchet and her husband, Michael, of Breaux Bridge, Sandra "Twig" Gaddy and her husband, Wayne, of Moss Bluff, and Penny D. Dauterive, of Breaux Bridge; two sisters, Elsie Hotard and her husband, Riley, and Doris D. Theriot and her husband, Nelson, all of Henderson; eight grandchildren, Shayna, Skipper, Brice, Falyn, Austin, Rikki, Aubriel and Joseph; and seven great grandchildren, Bree, Maddie, Lucus, Briley, Jean Pierre, Rory, and Sam. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archange and Theresa Robin Dauphine; and three sisters, Jeanette Rebert, Theresa McGee, and Rita Dauphine. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday and continue at 7:00 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Ken Devillier, Rickey Devillier, Skipper Touchet, Brice Fitzgerald, Troy Hotard, Karl Rebert, Oswald Rebert and Francis Guidry. Honorary pallbearer will be Joseph Dauterive. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
