Mary 'Marie' Madeline Fazekas

Breaux Bridge A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, for Mary "Marie" Madeline Fazekas, 90, who passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at Lafayette General Medical Center. Deacon Marcel Butch Hebert will officiate at Memorial Mass. Inurnment will follow at a later date in Fairfield, Connecticut. Marie enjoyed shopping at Walmart, playing Solitaire, talking with her friends, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her nephews, William Harrison Perry and wife Sharon of Breaux Bridge, LA, and John Andrew Perry of Eldorado, AR; her niece, Denise Rachael Itschner and husband Ted of Moyock, NC; great nieces, Neysha Perry and Jeanette Perry of Lafayette, LA; and great nephews, Evan Perry of Lafayette, LA and Taylor Itschner of Moyock, NC. She was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Konigus Reskus; father, George Reskus; her husband, Zeke Fazekas; brother, John Reskus; and sister, Jeanne Erickson. The family would like to express gratitude to her caregivers, Elaine Johnson, Louella Bijeaux, Kelly Carter, and Earline Theriot, for their compassion and excellent care.
