Cecilia - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia for Mary Ann Hayes, 90, who passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Pelican Pointe Nursing Home.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 11:30 am until 2:30 pm on Saturday.

Pastor Regina Blount will officiate at the Funeral Service.

Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.

Mary was a devoted Christian who enjoyed reading her bible and sharing the word of Jesus. In her spare time, she loved watching her birds, working in her flower garden, sewing and spending time with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Myles Lilley; son, Willie George Kitchens Jr. (Deborah); daughters, Sharon Totter and Charlene Picard (Samuel); eight grandchildren, Amy Garcia, Hannah Gonzales, Jonathon, Vincent, Jeremy and Ewen Trotter and Ben and Darius Rivera; 22 great grandchildren, Kenneth Cody Kitchens, Timothy and William Bruce, Damien Steppe, Aleisha, Elijah, and August Gonzalez, Samuel, Daniel, Nathaniel, and Sage Trotter, Lily, Ella and Eva Trotter, Summer Lindquist-Trotter, Ethan Trotter, Gavin and Rylan Rivera, Darius, Jr., Avery, Mason and Harper Rivera and 9 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Eugenie Dupuis Hayes; step-sons, Gayward Kitchens and Boyd Kitchens; six sisters, Eumae Dupuis, Eunice Lanclos, Bernice Duplechin, Pearl Huval, Bealuh Robin, and Rose Heubner; brothers, Livingston Hayes and Edwin Hayes; grandson, Buddy Kitchens; father of her children, Willie G. Kitchens, Sr.; and 2nd husband, Purgy Pepper.

Pallbearers will be Willie Kitchens, Jr., Sammy Picard, Jonathan Trotter, Ewen Trotter, Darius Rivera and Ben Rivera.

Honorary pallbearers D.J., Samual, Gavin, Daniel, Rylan, Nathanial and Mason.
