New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 23, 2007, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Iberia for Mary Lou LeBlanc, 75, who died Saturday, January 20, 2007 at her residence in New Iberia.
Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be officated by Rev. Mark G. Derise and Rev. Salvino ""Ruben"" Primor.
Mary Lou was a loving wife and mother who had a strong faith and instilled her love of God and the church to her children and grandchildren. ?Mary Lou was employed by Dr. D.E. Bourgeois for over 35 years, after retiring, she did private duty nursing.
Survivors include her husband, Irving P. LeBlanc, Sr. of New Iberia; her son, Irving P. ""Buddy"" LeBlanc, Jr. and his wife, Regi G. LeBlanc of Houston, Texas; his daughters, Katherine L. ""Kathy"" Guillotte and her husband, Kirk Guillotte of New Iberia, Gwen L. Jumonville and her husband, Henry Jumonville of New Iberia; her sisters, Evella L. Lattanzi of New Orleans, Theresa L. Guidry and her husband, Oldon Guidry of Lake Charles; her grandchildren, Tiffany Lane Turner, SPC Blake Kristopher LeBlanc and his wife, Sarah C. LeBlanc, Justin Paul Guillotte and Hannah Anne Guillotte; her step grand daughter, Leslie R. Talbot, and her children, Gage Kaden and Cristian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gussie and Elias LeDoux; her sisters Irene L. Lounsberry, Agnes L. Guidry and Ruby L. Vincent; and her brothers J.E. LeDoux, Russell LeDoux and Edward LeDoux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2007 and continue at 8:00 a.m. ~ 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2007.
The Catholic Daughters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help will recite a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2007.
Pallbearers will be her son, Irving ""Buddy"" LeBlanc, Jr., her grandson, SPC Blake K. LeBlanc, her son-in-law, Kirk Guillotte, her grandson, Justin Guillotte, her son-in-law, Henry Jumonville and her brother-in-law, Oldon Guidry.
