Mary Lewis

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 20, 2006, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Mary Lewis, 107, who died Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at Maison Teche Nursing Home in Jeanerette. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Survivors include her sons, Peter Louis of Franklin, Marshall Louis of St. Martinville and Morris Louis of Lafayette; her daughters, Lucille Thomas of New Orleans, Mary Ann May of New Orleans, Kathleen Rollins of New Orleans and Beatrice Steptoe of Dallas, TX ; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. ? She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lewis; her sons, Joe, Paul, John, Bernard, Anthony, Larry and Albert Lewis; her daughters, Geraldine Lewis and Rosemary Watson. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 AM, Monday, February 20, 2006 until time of service at Notre Dame Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 AM, Monday, February 20, 2006. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
