Mary Madeline Duplechin

Mary Madeline Duplechin age 76, a native and resident of Breaux Bridge, passed away peacefully, at Carpenter House in Lafayette on Sunday, December 03, 2023. She is the daughter of the late Claude Milton Wiltz and Aline Boudreaux Wiltz.

In keeping with Madeline's wishes, she will be cremated, and no services will be held.  Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.

Madeline was a loving daughter, sister, and friend. She found joy in feeding and watching the raccoons, opossums, skunks, squirrels, and birds.   

Survivors include two brothers, Leroy Joseph Wiltz and John Wayne Wiltz, all of Breaux Bridge; five nephews and one niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents Claude Milton Wiltz and Aline Boudreaux, and her husband Warren Duplechin.

The family would like to thank the medical staff at Ochsner St. Martin Hospital and the Carpenter House for their care and support during this time.
