Mary 'No-No' "No-No" Melancon

Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Mary "No-No" Melancon, 84, who passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 am until 1:30 pm on Thursday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Henderson. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 am on Thursday. Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Service. Scriptures will be read by Charlene Serrette. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. She is survived by numerous cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bertrand "Be Be" Melancon; and her parents, Kabel and Agnes Courville Altemus. Her family would like to give special thanks to the staffs of J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing home and Sunset Dialysis Center, for the compassionate care and attention given to her during her time of need.
