Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 19, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Mary Earline ""Lynn"" Singleton, 63, who died Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Fr. James P. Fallon, will conduct the funeral service. ""Lynn"", as she was affectionately called by family and friends, was a kind hearted person that loved everyone - she was a people person. ?Although we all know that she is in a better place, she will be sadly missed by family and friends. Survivors include six daughters, Delores Mitchell (Darrell) of St. Martinville, Mildred Thomas, Barbara McZeal, Sarah Alexander (Jerry) Rose Singleton, Patricia Tate (Randy); one son, Earl Singleton, all of Breaux Bridge; one sister, Martha Williams of Breaux Bridge; three brothers, Joseph Ernest Journet of Houston, TX, Dariel Journet of Salt Lake City, UT, and Joseph Carol Journet of Breaux Bridge; thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two aunts, Beatrice Derouselle and Isabella Alexander. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Singleton; her parents, Mildred and Lazaire Thomas; one sister, Geraldine Journet; and one brother, Earl James Thomas. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 a.m. on Friday and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. Friday morning. Pallbearers will be Joseph Ernest Journet, Chris Williams, Phillip Williams, Jr., Dariel Journet, Howard Singleton, and Timothy Cormier. Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Singleton, Carol Journet, Jerry Alexander, Milton Zeno, Ronnie McZeal, Darrell Mitchell, Randy Tate, Lee Brown, Fetchtral Gabriel, and Polite Jones. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
