Mary "Sue" G. Begnaud

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Mary "Sue" G. Begnaud, 72, who passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.

 A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 8:30 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. 

Deacon Butch Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Reader will be Deacon Butch. 

Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.

Sue’s life was defined by her warmth and kindness, as well as her many passions. A graduate with a high school diploma, she carved out a successful career in restaurant management, where she touched the lives of countless patrons and colleagues alike. Beyond her professional endeavors, Sue found joy in solving puzzles, crocheting intricate pieces, and immersing herself in the pages of her favorite books. Her love for nature often led her to sit outside, appreciating the beauty of the world around her, while enjoying the delightful company of family and friends.

Sue was an avid enthusiast of horse riding, watching horse races and enjoying the thrill of a day at the casino. These hobbies brought her immense joy and added to the colorful tapestry of her life.

She is survived by her sons, Todd Begnaud (Erica) and Codey Begnaud; grandchildren, Corey, Cole, Luke, Skylee, and Jaden Begnaud; and great-grandchildren, Avah Begnaud, Kohen Noel, Karter Begnaud, and Reese Begnaud.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Begnaud; son, Corey Begnaud; and parents, Theobert Hanks and Carita Miller.

Pallbearers will be Todd, Codey, Cole, Luke and Jaden Begnaud, and Jason Meche. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Dugas, Darryl Miller, and Bobby Hanks.
