Mary Joyce Thibodeaux

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 13, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Mary Joyce John Thibodeaux, 73, who died on Sunday, October 7, 2007 at her residence in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Rev. Fr. James Fallon, pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, will officiate at the funeral Mass. She is survived by three sons, Clarence Thibodeaux, McAlvin Thibodeaux, and Jimmie Thibodeaux, all of Breaux Bridge; four daughters, Valencia Williams, of Lafayette, Brenda Francis, Wanda Thibodeaux, and Shirley Thibodeaux, all of Breaux Bridge; two brothers, Joseph Gaston John, of Henderson, and McAlvin John, of Port Arthur, TX; 14 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thibodeaux; her parents, Nolton and Eunice Wiltz John; one brother, Whitney John; and one sister, Ella Mae John. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2007, and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Pallbearers will be Clarence Thibodeaux, McAlvin Thibodeaux, Jimmie Thibodeaux, Tarlton John, Clarence Celestine, and Terry Willis. Honorary pallbearers will be McAlvin John, John John, Quincy Francis, Clarence Thibodeaux, Jr., Robert Sylvester, John Babineaux, Courtney Thibodeaux, Calvin Jones and Carl Walker. The family would like to extend special thanks to Drs. Alfonso LeBron, Juan Paredes, and Debra Durham; as well as the dialysis staff at the Fresinius Center, Acadiana Home Health, and the Golden Rule, for the wonderful care provided to their mother during her illness. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
