Mary Ollie Thomassee

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 23, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Mary Ollie Thomassee, 84, who passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Survivors include her sons, Percy Thomassee of Breaux Bridge; her daughters, Delores Breaux of Grand Coteau and Deborah Thomassee Gamez of Breaux Bridge; her sisters, Anna Lou Hayes, Donna Angelle and Merline Champagne all of Breaux Bridge; 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Simeon Thomassee; her parents, Francois and Theodora Thibodeaux Champagne; her son, Clifton Thomassee and 2 ;brothers, Joseph Champagne and Samuel Champagne; 3 sisters, Isabelle Dejean, Vinette Patin, and Gertrude Hebert. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from time 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Friday and continue at 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
