VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, December 1, 2008, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Mary Ann Usie,76, who passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2008 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Rev. Chanh Nguyen, pastor of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, will conduct the services. Serving as readers are Joshua Credeur and Krystal Landry. Serving as gift bearers are Lexi Sonnier, Kylie Usie, Kathy Credeur, Angela Theriot, Amber Credeur and April Credeur. Mary Ann was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family and friends. Her hobbies included playing cards and cooking. Survivors include her sons, Louis Usie and his wife, Cynthia and Kenneth Usie and his wife, Diane all of Henderson; her daughters, Judy Hooper and her husband, Donald of Lafayette, Debbie Kidder and her husband, Kenneth of Carencro and Melissa Sonnier and her husband, Chet of Breaux Bridge; her brothers, Dennis Thibodeaux and his wife, Rata of Breaux Bridge, Lawrence Thibodeaux and his wife, Lou of Breaux Bridge, Raymond Thibodeaux of Texas and Bernell Martin of Crowley; her sisters, Mildred Soignier of Youngsville, Mable Muscarella and her husband Joe of New Orleans, Joyce Meche and her husband Steven of Breaux Bridge and Linda West and her husband, Ray of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Krystal Landry and her husband, Blaine, Robert Usie and his wife, Janine, Angela Theriot and her husband, Avery, Colby Patin and his wife, Laci, Brody Calais, Kathy Credeur and her husband, Antoine, Ronnie Hooper and his wife, Terry, Kevin Kidder and his wife, Mandi, Scotty Kidder and his wife, Gina, Lexi Sonnier and Logan Sonnier; her great grandchildren, Addison Landry, Rylan Calais, Blake Calais, Alex Patin, Kylie Usie, Kameron Usie, Alyssa Theriot, Joshua Credeur, Jared Credeur, April Credeur, Amber Credeur, Tyler Hooper, William Graves, J. Mack, Brandon Mack, Jordy Guilbeau, Harley Richeaux and Lucas Kidder; her great great grandchildren Aubrey Guilbeau and Ayden Credeur. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Usie; her parents, Leo and Blanche Babin "NuNu" Thibodeaux; her brothers, Earl and Lionel Thibodeaux; her step sister, Jeanne Berard and her step grandson, Aaron Calais. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, 2008 and continue at 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2008. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Pallbearers will be Louis Usie, Kenneth Usie, Robert Usie, Joshua Credeur, Ronnie Hooper and Jared Credeur. Honorary pallbearers will be Scotty Kidder, Kevin Kidder, J. Mac, Logan Sonnier, Tyler Hooper and Kameron Usie. Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
