Parks - A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 10:00 am, on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks, for Mary Frances Potier Waguespack, 66, who passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013, at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center in Breaux Bridge, LA . The family will greet friends at St. Joseph Church in Parks from 9:00 am until 10:00 am on Saturday. Monsignor Curtis Mallet, JCL, will officiate at the service. Scriptures will be read by Lisa P. Broussard and Kayla Sonnier. Gift Bearers will be Jennifer Hayes, Kaitlyn and Jordan Lalonde and Trinton Hayes. Altar Servers will be Emily and Bradley Sonnier. ; Frances was a graduate of St. Bernard School, attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now ULL) and worked in child care for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer W. Hayes and her spouse, Keith of Breaux Bridge; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn J. Lalonde and Jordan K. Lalonde; one step-grandson, Trinton Hayes; one brother, Ben (Jean) Potier of Parks; and two sisters, Marcelle P. (Ross) Hill of Houston, TX and Susan P. (Joe) Davis of Fullerton, CA. She is preceded in death by her husband, L.J. Waguespack; her parents, Marcel "T-Man" Potier and Yuline Hebert Potier; and a brother, Alfred Potier. The family wishes to thank the staffs of St. Agnes Nursing Home and Heart of Hospice for their compassionate care of Frances.
