Mary Hildruid Wiltz

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Notre Dame Catholic Church, on Monday, March 11, 2013 , at 11:00 a.m. in St. Martinville, for Mary Hildruid Robertson Wiltz, 88, who passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 . The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville from 7:00 a.m. until 10:45 am on Monday. A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 a.m. Fr. Augustinus Seran, SVD, will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Reading the scriptures for the service will be Daniel Wiltz, MD and Hillery W. Peltier. Gift Bearers will be Bertha W. Alexander, Valerie W. Guillory and Karen P. Thomas. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Mrs. Wiltz enjoyed cooking meals for family gatherings, which she had as often as possible. She enjoyed watching movies, caring for her cats and dogs, and trying her luck at the casino. She also loved vacationing in Florida and going on cruises with her family. She is survived by her sons, Charles (Judy) Wiltz, Christopher (Mary Rita) Wiltz all of St. Martinville, Daniel Wiltz, MD of Youngsville; her daughters, Carolyn W. (Richard) August of Lafayette, Hillery W. (Roland) Peltier of St. Martinville, Bertha W. (Joseph) Alexander of Mt. Juliet, TN, Valerie W. (Claude) Guillory of Lafayette; her brother, Clarence (Eula) Robertson of St. Martinville; her sister, Annie R. Maddox of Dequincy; 22 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a special niece, Grace Mouton Robertson Benoit, who was raised with her; her special caregiver, Deidra Guidry, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert G. Wiltz ; parents, Clerf Robertson and Adelia Wiltz Robertson; her brothers, Clayton and Clifford Robertson; her sisters, Mildred Davis, Florida Payne, Claylee Fontenot and Madeline Gayden; sisters-in-law, Pearline Robertson and Corinne Robertson; brothers-in-law, Jessie Davis, Jeffery Payne, Houston Fontenot, and Jessie Gayden. Pallbearers will be Daniel Wiltz, MD, Charles Wiltz, Christopher Wiltz, Claude Guillory, Joseph Alexander and Richard August, Sr. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard August, Jr., Clarence Robertson and John Lamant Wiltz.
