Matthew James Hebert, a dedicated oilfield worker whose passion for his craft was unmatched, was born in New Iberia, Louisiana on September 24, 1973. His journey on this earth was marked by hard work, skillful hands, and a heart overflowing with kindness.
Throughout his career, Matthew poured his sweat and soul into the oilfield industry, having worked at Nabors where he served in various roles such as tool pusher, rig manager, and crane operator for 15 years before joining Seahorse. His work ethic was unparalleled, earning him the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.
Matthew found solace in the simple pleasures of life. Fishing occupied his days, finding peace in the act of trolling and shrimping. His love for rock music reverberated through him as he rode his Harley with the wind as his companion. A true craftsman at heart, Matthew loved building things. His hands brought to life creations that will stand as a testament to his skill and dedication.
Matthew’s warm personality endeared him to all who crossed his path. His affable nature made him a friend to everyone he met; a trait cherished by many.
Above all else, Matthew held his family dear to his heart. His love for them knew no bounds, and they were the center of his universe. He will be deeply missed.
