Maudray Melancon

St. Martinville - A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am, on Friday, November 25, 2016, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Maudray Bourque Melancon, 91, who passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016. Rev. Joseph Padinjarepeedika will officiate at the Memorial Service. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara M. Fawvor and husband James Kim Fawvor of St. Martinville, and Mary Nancy Castille of St. Martinville; brothers, Louis Bourque of St. Martinville and Bobby Bourque of Baton Rouge; sister, Marion Dugas and husband Creed of New Iberia; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Melancon; son, Curtis Melancon; parents, Daniel and Modeste Barras Bourque; brothers, Raymond Bourque and Jerome Bourque; sisters, Hazel Berard, Nell Hebert and Lena Bonin.
