Maudrey Francis

St.Martinville - A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Maudrey Ann Marshall Francis, 62, who passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2012. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Notre Dame Catholic Church from 7:00 am until 10:45 am on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 am. Maudrey loved to crochet and enjoyed watching TV, particularly Law Order, which was her favorite television show. Maudrey loved spending time with her family and friends and cooking for them, especially on her favorite holiday, which was Christmas. She is survived by four sons, Joseph Francis, Jr. of St. Martinville, Nick (Penelope) Francis of Atsugi, Japan, Jamie (Annie) Francis of San Diego, CA, and Kyle (Anecia) Marshall of Carencro; her daughter, Connie Jean-Batiste of Oak Harbor, WA; two sisters, Earline (Howard) Menard and Mary Augustine Marshall, both of St. Martinville; 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Francis, Sr.; her parents Adolph and Verna Mae Louis Marshall; and her sister, Mary Louise Marshall. Pallbearers will be Nick Francis, Joseph Francis Jr., Jamie Francis, Kyle Marshall, Janeil Francis, and Jacolby Francis. Pellerin Funeral Home, (337.332.2111), is in charge of arrangements.
