Maverick James Doucet St. Martinville A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Martinville, for Maverick James Doucet, 4, who passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 am until 10:45 am on Thursday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville. Interment will follow at Methodist Cemetery in St. Martinville. Maverick loved playing with his monster trucks, airplanes, and little toy guns. He loved playing outdoors, fishing, and pulling anything in his wagon. Maverick enjoyed riding on the 4-wheeler and riding in his grandfathers shrimp boat. He is survived by his parents, Nicole Baudoin and Brandon Doucet, of Parks; three sisters, Elly Doucet, Zoey Broussard, and Jessica Doucet, all of Parks; his grandparents, Joey Baudoin and Samantha Romero of Parks, Debbie and Allen Picard of Lafayette, Sharon and Nolan Doucet, Jr. of St. Martinville; and his great grandparents, Elnora Baudoin of Parks, Alice and Boy Touchette of Scott, Nelson Eddie of Scott, Nolan Doucet, Sr. of St. Martinville, and Sue and Norris Byron of Coteau Holmes. Pallbearers will be Alcee Baudoin, Major Forrestier, Nolan Doucet, Jr., and Rodney Doucet.
