Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2007, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Mavis Angelle Latiolais, 79, who died Sunday, August 19, 2007 at her residence. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 - Mausoleum, in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Paul LaFleur, pastor of St. Bernard Church, will conduct the services. Mrs. Latiolais was a parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church and was a member of the Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters of America. She is survived by one daughter, Louizette Latiolais, of Breaux Bridge; two sons, Marty Latiolais and his wife, Bonnie, of Lafayette, and Neal Latiolais and his wife, Penelope, of Breaux Bridge; one sister, Nellie A. LeBlanc, of Breaux Bridge; and three granddaughters, Arielle, Angelique, and Andrea Latiolais. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dalton J. and Lapal A. Angelle; her husband, Wiley Latiolais; five brothers, Jim, Duval, Louis, and Errol Angelle, and an infant brother, Huey Angelle; and two sisters, Italia "Taya" Dejean, and Susie Taylor. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Harris Bergeron at 7:30 p.m. on Monday evening. Pallbearers will be Glenn Angelle, Lee Castille, Paul Broussard, Kenneth LeBlanc, Bryan LeBlanc, and Phillip LeBlanc. Honorary pallbearers will be Norris Latiolais, Chris Guillot, and Matthew Guidry. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
