Breaux Bridge- Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2005, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for May Dumatrait Dugas, 75, who died Sunday, September 25, 2005 at her residence.
Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Mrs. Dugas was a long life volunteer at St. Agnes Nursing Home in Breaux Bridge.
Survivors include her sons, J.C. Dugas and his wife, Genny of St. Martinville and Jim Dugas and his wife, Pauline of Breaux Bridge; her daughters, Linda D. LeBlanc and her husband, Jimmy of Breaux Bridge and Mary D. Ketelers and her husband, Rod of Lafayette; her brothers, Alcee, Clifton and Edwin Dumatrait, all of Breaux Bridge, and Joseph P. Hebert of Gonzales; her sister, Enola Usie of Henderson; ten grandchildren, Tiffany Dugas Vincent of Parks, Kevin Dugas of St. Martinville, Amy Lynette LeBlanc of Breaux Bridge, Toni LeBlanc Stelly, Cheramie LeBlanc Brewer, both of Arnaudville, Lauren Ketelers, Lana Ketelers, Grant Ketelers, Gabbi Ketelers, all of Lafayette and Casey Theriot of Parks; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Antoine "Frere" Dugas; her parents, Clay and Ezola Thomassee Dumatrait; her brothers, Tony, Lloyd and Percy Dumatrait and Gussie and Orel Hebert; and her sisters, Vivian Huval, Lena Cormier and Marie Bergeron.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 p.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Monday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Dugas, Rusty Vincent, Dwayne Stelly, Joe Brewer, Casey Theriot, Rod Ketelers, and Grant Ketelers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St., Ste. 200, Lafayette, LA 70503.
